Brian Mclaughlin




Precision Boxing and Mixed Martial arts head coach is Brian McLaughlin.

Brian began training martial arts at the age of 15 after many of his friends were attacked and badly beaten in street fights. Originally, he was hoping to simply learn a few moves to keep himself safe, Brian fell in love with mixed martial arts and made it his life’s work.

A true mixed martial artist, Brian holds a 2 nd degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and had trained extensively under Muay Thai world champions, professional boxers and Olympic wrestlers and Judokas. He has been a sparring partner to some of the best in the sport including multiple UFC and WEC world champions. In the quest for martial arts knowledge, Brian has trained in Korea, Japan, Brazil and alongside numerous members of the world famous Gracie family.

As a competitor, Brian has earned numerous professional and amateur titles and victories in grappling, boxing, Brazilian jiu-jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts. Brian always faced the toughest competition he could find, he has even defeated opponents who have gone on to fight for UFC titles.

As a coach and instructor Brian has trained and cornered some of the very best fighters in the world. His students have fought in UFC main events and won titles at local, national and international titles across the globe. Notable students include:

  • Mickey Gall
  • Sean Santella
  • Andy Main

Additionally, Brian was hand selected by the United States Army to train the Ft. Hood Combatives Team – the most elite hand to hand fighting force in the US military.

Brian’s goal as an instructor is to help each of his students become the strongest version of themselves possible. Although he works with many world class athletes, Brian happily teaches beginner and children’s classes daily hoping to extend the great benefits of the martial arts to every member of his community.
